Laser Skin Resurfacing

It used to be that laser-resurfacing treatments removed (or ablated) the upper-most surface of a large area of skin, but new, improved technology allows for much more control. We can adjust the level of treatment for results that range from subtle to striking.

How Will I Look After The Treatment?

You will experience mild to moderate redness as though you have a sunburn. There is also a small amount of pinpoint bleeding and some swelling. Complete healing takes a few weeks but most patients feel comfortable enough going back to their daily activities and wearing make-up a few days after the treatment. As your skin heals you will notice a general tightening effect, but the collagen regeneration steadily develops over the next 4 to 6 months.
